Fun in the Kitchen

We've decided recently that we want to start eating healthier, so we've been experimenting with more natural snacks. We're quite proud of some of our accomplishments. We made natural peanut butter, made from raw peanuts that we roasted ourselves. We also made homemade granola, and have been experimenting ways to turn them into granola bars. It tastes great on yogurt, and we're planning on trying it as an ice cream topper as well (ok, so that defeats the purpose of it being healthy, we know, but everything in moderation, right!)

When we come back from the States, we're planning on planting a small garden so that we can eat garden fresh produce. Additionally, our neighbor sells fresh milk, straight from the udder, which we plan to buy instead of the boxed shelf milk. We may even start making our own yogurt and churning our own butter. Maybe we should start our own line of natural food products to sell!
